Bid on a job

If you are a coder and find a job that you'd like to try, click on any job to be taken to its project details. From there, you can click on "bid on this project" to open the bidding form. Fill out the following fields and click submit when you are ready.

message to buyer - tell the buyer why they should select you. Did you recently do a similar project? Do you have a ton of experience with this type of project? Let the buyer know so that they can make an informed decision about your bid.
proposed due date - by default, you'll see the due date that the buyer specified. If you think you can do the project faster than they are suggesting, this is the place to say so. A buyer may be more inclined to choose your bid if you propose doing the project faster. Alternatively, if you think the project will simply take longer, this is also the place to say so.
proposed budget - by default, you'll see the budget that the buyer specified. If you think you can do the project for less, you can indicate that here. A buyer is more likely to choose your bid if you propose doing it for even less than they indicated. Alternatively, if you think the budget is too low for the project, you can suggest a higher budget here, but a buyer may be less likely to choose your bid if you do this. Still, sometimes buyers will post jobs with too small of a budget and will receive no bids, so this is one way to indicate what price you would be willing to do the work for.
